puppies

We breed black & brown or black & red puppies. They are happy, sweet, healthy and always socialized. Most puppies are completely black right after birth. The definite colors are visible when the dogs are grown up. In most cases the colors on the back end of the ears indicate the definite colors of the dog. Each year we breed several litters, which are pronounced on this web site.

We always keep an eye on the puppies and their mother. That's why we keep the puppies with their mother in our home. Each puppy is loved and handled from the time of birth until they are released to their new homes.

The Jabora females get their first litter when they are two to three years of age. We always give a female that grows up slowly the time to be a puppy or young dog. For us it is not a big deal when that should mean that she´ll get her first litter later then other females. It is our opinion that a female should have her first litter when she´s - besides having passed the Breed Survey - mentally and physically ready to be a good mother.
Each year we make a breed program and we select some of our females for this program. Next step is to select the right Sire for each female that might enhance our bloodline.
On average each female gets a litter each year and a half. We use our females for breeding till they reach the age of six to seven years.

certificate of breeding quality

This certificate is a official proof of controlled quality for the Dutch GSD's. This certificate is the official Dutch GSD Club´s hallmark. This hallmark receives a lot of national and international acknowledgment. The Certificate of Breeding Quality also guarantees that the data concerning breed conformation, pedigree, color, line breed, show- and trial results and health are always correct. The Certificate of Breeding Quality contains this data as far as the fourth generation.
The Certificate of Breeding Quality is only provided to the so called hallmark litters. Both parents of a hallmark litter must have the Breeding Recommendation: ´Especially recommended for breeding' (KKL 1/1a)

breed survey

To get the Breeding Recommendation the dog has to do a Breed Survey. In this survey the weight, the height of the withers and the size of the chest are measured, recorded and checked with the Breed Standard. Also the dog's hardness, courage and fight drive are being tested and recorded, just as the results of the medical examination (Hip and Elbow Dysplasia). The results of trials (such as VH. I or SchH. I), the color, the coat variation and the anatomy are also administrated. To do the Breed Survey the dog must have at least the Endurance Test, the Companion Dog, the VH. I or SchH. I titles and a ZG or SG show result. And, the dog has to be in a very good shape.
